El Avellano lodge is located in Ayacara, Chile (Lake District). The village of Ayacara represents the geographical frontier of wet temperate forests of the world, yet untouched and unpolluted. Where the Andes meet the Pacific ocean, lots of forest, beautiful creeks, waterfalls and meadows are part of the surrounding landscape.
Located in the province of Palena it is near Natural Park Pumalin, Puerto Montt, Chiloé island and Chaitén.

The lodge it is run by a local family offering a personalized service to the guests in hostelry and gastronomy. From the lodge you can go on trekking and hiking trips to nearby Patagonian rainforest mountains and valleys as well as trout fly fishing in Patagonia crystal clear creek fresh waters.
